This doorway jumper stimulates baby through jumping fun. It provides entertainment and exercise for baby without taking up all your floor space. The framed seat fully surrounds the child providing comfort and the sturdy door frame clamp provides a secure fit in most interior doorways. Parents can feel comfortable knowing their child is protected by a fully enclosed spring that prevents the child from touching the spring. Because this doorway jumper is easily packed, it is also great to take on the road for playtime anywhere and it's easy to wipe clean when you're finished using it.

My daughter loves jumping in this! The only con would be that the spring is way too loud.

EDIT: Had to lower my rating one star. My daughter fell forward while in it. It's possible she was getting too tall, but she was under what the weight limit is supposed to be. She was okay and didn't seem bothered by it. But check out the photo as a precaution.

Our baby loved it, but for a short window of time. Given the price point, it was worth it, but some drawbacks keep it from being a 5-star product.

PROS:
- Simple, tool-free installation
- When properly installed and adjusted, seems very secure and safe
- Baby seemed to enjoy being able to stand and jump

CONS:
- Location limited to doorways and beams with trim
- Takes multiple adjustments to get the height right (repeated if location changes and baby grows)
- Spring is loud (but then again, so are many things babies do!)
- Limited "shelf life" of interest from the baby
- Seems potentially dangerous if not perfectly installed and adjusted (we were especially concerned baby could flip forward if height not perfectly adjusted - then we saw another reviewer did experience that)

If you have a doorway in a great spot for this where you can really nail down the perfect installation, and your child enjoys it for a long time, this would be a 5-star product.

We bought these for our grandbabies for Christmas. They were five months old at the time and just starting to stand on their legs and bouncing up and down. Since grandma and grandpa's arms wear out before those sweet chunky baby legs do, these seemed like a perfect gift for them AND us. Much to our surprise, the babies didn't seem thrilled with them. However, now at a whopping eight months old, they have most certainly changed their minds. They think the jumpers are among the greatest things ever now. They can really get moving on these things, dancing around and having a great old time. They love it even more if there's music playing. It's fun watching them learn exactly how their little bodies move and what they're capable of.

These hang on door jams simply by squeezing the jaws together much like any other clamp 1with springs. They are safe and secure, and they don't mark up the walls. The craftsmanship on them is perfect. They are made from quality, bright material, and they are sewn securely with no missing or broken stitches. They are padded around all the edges to protect their little arms, and the seats are deeper than many I've seen so no matter how excited they get they're still safely tucked inside.

My daughter loves this jumper! It was super easy to assemble, and the fabric is machine washable, so it's easy to clean. I was a little concerned about the strength of the clamp you put on the door frame, and how secure it really was. However, once the jumper arrived, all that concern was put to rest. The clamp is so strong I can hardly put it on the door frame, and my husband has to take it down. With most things, I would consider that a negative, but with this item, that is a HUGE plus. My daughter is a little small, so we put a little pillow behind her back, and she sits in it just fine. She's also teething, and the fabric on this can easily be wiped down, so that's also a plus. Overall this is a great little product, and a great way to keep her occupied while I'm doing laundry or cleaning. She's safe, secure and has a great time.

We got the kangaroo version. Super easy to set up, no assembly required, very cute with the little tail and all. My baby seems to enjoy it even though she is a little on the small side so can't push off the ground very well (she can reach the floor with her tippy toes).

Our baby is just shy of 4 months, so arguably a little young for this but we got it for her because she is extremely eager to look around and be involved with whatever is going on in the house. She is not content to be set down in a crib, playpen, lounger, etc while we're cooking and stuff. This allows her to see her surroundings better and she seems to enjoy the relative freedom. Shes only used it 4 times so far but already I can see she's learning what to do to move and how her legs work. Just a little practice every day.

Although I'm sure the manufacturer states some size or age requirement, I didn't look at that before I bought it. My personal assessment is: I would not recommend this jumper for any baby that doesn't have basic head control, is smaller than 15lbs, or hasn't reached basic motor milestones for 5-6 months.

In addition to being super curious about her surroundings as mentioned above, our baby was rolling over back to front at 10 weeks, was holding her head up pretty well since birth, and has reached some other milestones ahead of the "average" schedule... otherwise I would NOT have tried putting her in a doorway jumper so soon. Size-wise, she is pretty much right down the middle of the growth charts so not like her legs are extra long to use this or anything.

Our doors are a standard height, and our baby's feet are barely able to reach the ground with the jumper on the most extended setting. If you have taller doorways or a smaller baby (even if he/she is older and more mobile, just on the small side) it's likely your baby will not be able to push off the ground.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I feel like there must be some way to design this so it's easier to get the baby in and out. I imagine it's even harder with a larger baby, and already I find it difficult to squeeze her in between the straps. It gets turned inside out every time I take her out of it becsuae it doesn't seem to want to let go of the baby! All in all an excellent buy though.
